'Parenting in the Middle Years' is a supportive and educational series for parents of children ages 6 to 12 years. Topics covered include: understanding middle childhood development, encouraging social-emotional competency, responding to school and family life challenges - bullying, Covid concerns, fostering positive peer relationships, understanding temperament, and strategies for effective positive discipline and guidance in the middle years will be covered. This COS series will be held together with our partner organization East Side Family Place on Fridays for 8 weeks. Start date is Oct 23. A secure attachment between child and caregiver is critical to a child’s current and future well being.
