Mealtimes can be tricky to navigate, especially
for families with toddlers and young children.
Toddlers are at that stage where they are certainly
letting their opinions known, and keeping the
experience positive for everyone is not always easy.
Here are some strategies your family can try:
Spending quality time with our children is so
important because it strengthens our bonds
with them, supports their development and
satisfies their need to connect with us.
Long days at work or around the home can
leave us feeling exhausted, and too drained
to engage in long periods of play activity…..
But sometimes, even spending 10 minutes
a day of undivided time with your child can
reap potential benefits.
“If parents want to give their children a gift,
the best thing they can do is to teach their
children to love challenges, be intrigued by
mistakes, enjoy effort, and keep on learning.
That way, their children don’t have to be slaves
of praise, they will have a lifelong way to build
and repair their own confidence”
Carol S. Dweck
