Parental Tip of the Month:

“A parent is no more than a gardener, his/her job is not to shape the kids into something they are not, like a bonsai tree, but rather our job is to create a safe environment that allows the kids to let go and find their unique way to become whole as life unfolds in front of them.”
Yun of the Two Whos

  • Too Much

At Information Children we frequently hear
from parents who are wistful for the day when
their child can talk, or their child can walk,
or from parents who can’t wait for the day
when their child is toilet-trained or when
their child can read to themself.
Raising a young family today can be busy.

  • Research on Sharing

    Although preschoolers can appreciate
sharing as a social norm, they don’t
really embrace the principle until they’re
at least 7, according to the study,
published in the journal PLOS One.
