The Myth of the Only Child
As couples are starting families later
in life and they are facing increasing
economic pressures, more and more
parents are wondering whether or not
they will have that second child.
The Canadian Society for Information Children is a non-profit organization and a registered charity, founded in 1979. We provide information, support and referrals to parents and caregivers related to the care and well-being of families with children 12 years and under. Our Parent Coach-Educators answer all Helpline calls; for areas outside of our area of expertise, we provide parents with referrals to other community organizations or resources related to the concern.

be aligned, this collaboration provides
opportunities for sharing, creativity, and
understanding one another better.
A very recent study out of UBC, soon to be published

goals.
