Circle of Security Workshop
This COS series will be held together with our partner organization Parent Support Services.Starting Tuesday January 14th we will meet Tuesday mornings 9:30-11:30 for 8 sessions until March 3, 2019
FREE with Childminding (18 months and above) Space Limited
A secure attachment between child and caregiver is critical to a child’s current and future well being. Research shows that secure children have: Increased empathy, Greater self esteem, Better relationships with parents and peers, enter school more ready to learn, and re able to handle their emotions better.
You will learn how to :
- better understand your child(ren)’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
- support your child(ren)’s ability to manage emotions
- Enhance the development of your child(ren)’s self esteem
- Honour your child(ren’s) wish to be secure.
