Emotions in Parenting

In partnership with Parent Support Services Society of BC, we are pleased to offer Emotions in Parenting, a 1.5 hr workshop via Zoom.

Emotion regulation is an integral part of thriving children, with their parents and caregivers holding the key to this ability. How can we, as grown ups respond to the flood of emotions from our children when we are taking the heat from their behaviours? How can we co-regulate when we ourselves are feeling overwhelmed? And what can we do to start building our children’s emotional capacity and understanding of themselves and others?

Parenting the Middle Years

In partnership with Parent Support Services Society of BC, we are excited to offer a 6-session series on Parenting the Middle Years. We will be exploring information and strategies around how parents and caregivers of children 8-12 years can strengthen their connection with their tween-aged children, and how to further enrich their parenting experience.

Boundaries in Parenting Workshop

We are excited to offer this 1.5 workshop for families with children 0-6 years old, in partnership with Parent Support Services Society of BC. We will be exploring how to set limits & boundaries with our children. Join us on October 25 @ 10am. 

New Parents Group: Birth-4 Years

In this interactive 6-session series, the focus is on learning to understand the unique challenges parents of children under age 5 encounter.

UBC study – Fathers and Chores

A very recent study out of UBC, soon to be published
in an upcoming issue of the journal Psychological
Science, reveals data showing that in homes where
fathers pitched in, daughters held broader career
goals.
